TUNHEIM LAUNCHES COOL NEW IDENTITY Our Minneapolis partner, Tunheim - formerly known as "Tunheim Partners" - has launched its new identity with a decidedly social and tech twist. The agency's new logo comes in several forms, one of which is a QR code, a two-dimensional bar code that allows Smartphone users to quickly access Internet content. "We're demonstrating that Tunheim has expanded its expertise and creativity to social and online media as well as brand strategy and marketing," said Patrick Milan, Tunheim's new executive vice president and creative director. "It makes a statement on our calling card, and, of course, offers our clients and prospects the opportunity to link to thought-provoking content." Check out the excellent video linked to Tunheim's live business cards, which opens with TrainTracks Managing Director Yukiko Harada, our partner in Tokyo. |

36% ANNUAL GROWTH AS PAVER SMITH WEATHERS RECESSION UK IPREX partner Paver Smith has announced a 36% increase in turnover for 2009. Income rose from £1.7m ($2.8m) to just under £2.4m ($3.9m), with a net gain of 17 new clients over the year, including the National Lottery, Grosvenor and webuyanycar.com. The agency, headquartered in Liverpool, also took its head count to 38, launched its in-house training academy and opened its Deansgate office in Manchester. "I don't think we've ever worked as hard in our lives," said managing director Dougal Paver. "We focused heavily on training, development and systems and that's delivered for us," he said. Paver predicts that 2010 will be "as tough, if not tougher" than 2009 but is forecasting growth of around 10% for the year.
